What does it take to break the cycle of poverty?

Our FREE Bridges Out of Poverty workshops bring together community members, employers, professionals, volunteers, and more to start the conversation. Participants will learn about strategies, tools, and resources to help reduce barriers to success for those with lived experience in poverty.

This workshop is FREE but Registration is required.

Join us for an evening of tastings while strolling the charming grounds of the Farm at Casa Carmen.
Bourbon tastings will be curated and presented by Executive Bourbon Steward, Lanny Lewis, and will include five exquisite bourbons from across the country.
Wine tastings, curated by Casa Carmen, includes three signature wines and a barrel-aged Vermouth Manhattan.
Tastings will be paired with local chefs’ delectable small plates and each guest will receive a celebratory glass.

The KACS Annual Meeting was free to attend, and open to all partner agencies, funders, participants of KACS services, staff, volunteers, and community members.

The evening's meeting was presented in English and Spanish and included a review of KACS' current activities, plans for the coming year, and an update on the new building project.

With every candle purchased, you support the mission of KACS to eradicate poverty and homelessness.

A Path Forward

This is a free, 16-week workshop designed to help adults learn about building resources and relationships in the community, and planning for a better life.

At these Workshops we offer:
• $25 gift card each week
• Free dinner and childcare
• Resource book & materials
